Frequently Asked Questions
There are four ways to sign in to MyRide901:
- Sign in with Facebook;
- Sign with Google;
- Sign with your Apple ID;
- Sign up with a MyRide901 email address and password by tapping the Sign up link.
To delete your MyRide901 account, follow these steps:
- Open the Main menu by tapping on the menu icon at the top left of the Home Screen.
- From the Main menu, tap on Settings to open the Settings screen.
- From the Settings screen, tap on Edit Profile to open the Edit Profile screen.
- From the Edit Profile screen, tap on the DELETE ACCOUNT button to delete your account.
Check Your Spambox
Sometimes, the verification email can get flagged as spam; if you do not see it in you inbox, please check your junk mail folder.
Try Again
Try going back to the MyRide901 main screen and starting over by tapping the Sign up link.

When you login to MyRide901 the first time, you will need to add a vehicle profile and then begin adding service events on it.
Add a Vehicle Profile
- On the Homepage, tap “+“.
- Next, choose your vehicle using our Vehicle Selector Tool, search by VIN, or enter your vehicle details manually. You will need to choose a nickname for your vehicle (to differentiate from other vehicles you add), and add the Purchase details (date/mileage) and Current Mileage (date/mileage). Don’t forget to select whether your odometer reports in miles (mi.) or kilometers (km) as this determines how your mileage appears throughout MyRide901.
- Tap Submit when done.
Create a Service Timeline for Your Vehicle
- On the Homepage, tap “+“.
- Next, tap Add Service Event. This will take you to the Add Service Event page.
- On the Add Service Event page, confirm the vehicle you want to enter a Service Event in the Vehicle Drop-down menu.
- Complete all fields, starting with the Event field (this is where you provide a name for the Service Event – e.g. Oil Change).
- Use the Service Details section to enter Parts and Service items.
- You can also add photos, images, videos and other documents (e.g. PDFs) in the Event Gallery section.
- Tap SAVE when done. This will return you to the Homepage where the Service Event you created will appear in your recent service events.
- To see all events you have added to your timeline, tap View All Service Events.
Share Your Vehicle Timeline
- On the Homepage, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, tap the second Share icon inside the blue circle and select the service events you would like to share (or all to share the entire timeline).
- Tap the Share icon inside the blue circle.
- On the Share Timeline screen, tap to select whether to share with Guest(s) (people who don’t have a MyRide901 account) or MyRide901 User(s) (people who do).
- On the next screen, tap ADD in the top right corner to open the Add new email popup.
- Enter the email of the person you wish to share your timeline with, and tap ADD.
- Repeat Step 5 to add more people.
- Tap NEXT when you have selected the people you wish to share your timeline with.
- Now, check the Edit checkbox for people who are allowed to update the Service Events you are sharing. For example, if you are sharing with a mechanic, you may want to give them Edit permission if you want them to update or attach an image/document, such as an estimate, to the Service Events you are sharing, ).
- Tap Submit, and the resulting, Event shared successfully! button.
- If you are sharing with a Guest, the Guest will receive an email with a link to your timeline that will open it in their browser; if you are sharing with a MyRide901 User, the User will receive a notification on their mobile phone.
When sharing a Timeline, the Service Events you choose are shared with all the people you have selected to share with. You can share different Service Events with different people, by sharing the Timeline multiple times, changing the Service Events and people you are sharing with each time.
- From the Homepage, tap “+” and then “Add new vehicle” (if this is the first vehicle you are adding, you’ll skip past this step). You can choose your vehicle using our Vehicle Selector Tool, search by VIN, or enter your vehicle details manually. You will need to choose a nickname for your vehicle (to differentiate from other vehicles you add), and add the Purchase details (date/mileage) and Current Mileage (date/mileage). Don’t forget to select whether your odometer reports in miles (mi.) or kilometers (km) as this determines how your mileage appears throughout MyRide901.
- Tap Submit when done.
Yes. MyRide901 allows you to maintain service events for up to 10 vehicles. Just tap “+” from the Home page to add more vehicles.
Yes. However, we encourage you to use caution when doing so since deleting a vehicle profile will delete its timeline, including all service events for the vehicle.
To delete a vehicle profile, tap the Vehicle icon to open the Vehicle Profile page, and then tap the Trash Can icon.
To add service events to your vehicle’s timeline:
- Tap “+” on the Homepage.
- Tap Add Service Event. This will take you to the Add Service Event page.
- On the Add Service Event page, confirm the vehicle you want to enter a Service Event in the Vehicle Drop-down menu.
- Complete all fields, starting with the Event field (this is where you provide a name for the Service Event – e.g. Oil Change).

Every MyRide901 account comes with 2GB of cloud storage. So, add as many as you want as long as the total of everything you add does not exceed the 2GB limit.

- On the Homepage, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, tap the second share icon inside the blue circle and select the service events you would like to share (or all to share the entire timeline).
- Tap the Share icon inside the blue circle.

To change your password:
- From the Homepage, tap on the hamburger menu (the three lines in the top left corner).
- Next, tap Settings to access your Account settings.
- Now, tap Change Password. You will be prompted to enter your current password, your new password, and confirmation of your new password.
- Finally, click UPDATE PASSWORD, and you’re done!
From the Email Sign-In page:
- Tap Forgot Password?.
- On the Forgot Password page, Enter your email address, and tap Send. This will send you an email with a link to a webpage where you can reset your password. If you do not receive the email, check your Spam box.
