Latest Updates & New Features

We want to let you know about some important updates coming to MyRide901.

 

As noted in our last newsletter, to continue improving MyRide901 and supporting its growth in an ad-free environment, we are moving to a freemium model. Starting February 24, 2025, some MyRide901 advanced features will require a Premium subscription for a small fee.  Core features will remain free, and you’ll still be able to track maintenance and keep your service timeline intact.

  • Vehicle History Download
  • Service Receipt Scanning
  • Accident Reporting
  • Safety Recall Look-Up 
  • Next Service Look-Up

 

Subscription Options:

  • Yearly: USD$29.99/year
  • Monthly: USD$3.99/month

 

Why We’re Making These Changes: We’ve made this decision to ensure we can continue to improve MyRide901, add new features, and provide ongoing support for our app. Your subscription will directly help us maintain and expand the app while keeping the core features free for everyone to use ad-free.

 

What Does This Mean for You?

  • Current Data Access: You’ll still have access to all the data you’ve already generated (like mileage and service receipts), and your previous information will remain available.
  • Premium Features Access: Starting February 24, 2025, you will need a subscription to use Premium features.

  • Today’s release includes a Search field on the Home screen that filters Service Events based on words you enter. Also, the Cost Summary now updates to reflect the Service Events being displayed. Today’s release includes a Filtering Reset button on the Home screen that clears filtering so you can resume viewing your entire service timeline. Apart from a bug fix for an issue where a vehicle’s mileage unit preference was not reflected in the mileage tracker, today’s release includes significant updates to our code to make it faster and more supportable.   • Today’s release includes a Find A Shop feature that will help you find repair shops nearby. We’ve also added a Service Receipt scanner that scans and enters receipt details for you.   • Today’s release fixes a bug that prevented scrolling when viewing Service Events. Also, we have made the Add Reminder button (“+”) in the top right corner of the Reminders page more visible.   • Today’s release includes our new Release Capture feature: No more manually re-typing the details from your service invoices–simply take a photo of your invoice, and MyRide901 will add the parts, labor and price details for you!
